Our Oppie cruise sunday July 11th has been cancelled due to weather.

We had another great morning for "Taste of Oppies" last saturday when nearly 30 kids took to the water. Many thanks to all the volunteers and coaches who helped out and made the session a great success. If you are interested in going Oppie sailing every week contact one of us below for more details about getting a boat and getting started. Regular Oppie coaching continues every saturday morning at 10.30 for all those with their own boats.

Taste of Oppie Sailing Morning

 Saturday  June 19th at 10am - All are  welcome  - even  if  you  do  not  have  a  boat. Just  bring  a  wet  suit and  life  jacket  for   you  kids.   "No  experience  necessary  " !!  It  is  open to members and  non  members . Bring  your neighbours and   friends . We  will  have   some  extra  boats and  lots  of  coaches.

There will be no Oppie coaching this saturday June 12 due to the Seabreze Festival and Fenit Regatta.

Oppie Training switches to Saturday mornings at 10.30 from June 5th

Last Sunday a group of 15 beginner Oppie sailors took to the water in ideal conditions to get a taste of Oppie sailing. The morning was a great success and hopefully many of these young sailors will become part of our TBSC Oppie fleet in good time. There will be an Oppie sailing session for all those interested in Optimist sailing on sunday May 15th at 10am at the club weather permitting. Please confirm with Dave, Pat or Ian so we know numbers.

Normal Oppie coaching continues every sunday at 10.30 for all our current oppie sailors.

TBSC Oppies are back on the water after the winter break.  There is Coaching every sunday morning at 10.30 for the Senior Fleet and the Junior Fleet will also go out weather permitting. We will text beforehand to update on sessions.

We have a big group of over 20 budding sailors for our New Oppie Fleet and we hope to start this group after Easter when the weather warms up. If you are interested and I have not been in contact with you yet call me and I will add you to the group.

With such big numbers this year there is alot more organising to be done but help is at hand. Dave Buckley is the Oppie Fleet Captain for 2010 and Pat Daly is organinsing coaches for all our training sessions.
