Tralee Bay Sailing Club ICRA/WIORA 2009 Race office The race office is located upstairs on the right in the clubhouse. Opening hours are as follows: Sunday Jun 7th 1600 - 2100 Tuesday Jun 9th 1600 - 2100 Wednesday Jun 10th 0800 - 1100, 1600 - 2000 Thursday Jun 11th 0800 - 1100, 1600 - 2000 Friday Jun 12th 0800 - 1100, 1600 - 2000 Saturday Jun 13th 0800 - 1100, 1600 - 2000 Catering A catering service will be available in the marquee every day from 1700 – 2000. In addition there will be a catering stand on the marina every morning to supply snacks and lunches. Entertainment Entertainment will be provided in the marquee each evening from 2200. There will be live music on Friday (Shane and Bongo John) and Saturday (Jelo). Parking There is ample parking in and around the village to cater for all sailors and guests. Please be courteous and do not cause an obstruction. Parking in the club car park is restricted to members and race officials. The new car park west of the marina will also be available for the week. Cranage The crane is available on Sunday to Wednesday for lift in and Saturday(pm) and Sunday for lift out. There is a charge of €50 per lift. Please contact the marina office on 066 7136231 to reserve a time. If you do not contact the marina we cannot guarantee that a slot will be available. Marina There will be space in the harbour for all visiting boats. Please consult the berthage plan which is on our website and in the harbour office to see which area you have been allocated. You will be required to remain in this area for the duration of the event and may have to raft up. Please ensure that you have plenty of fenders and warps! Access to the marina is controlled and key fobs will be available from the office (€25 deposit). The marina is not belong to the club but the harbour board have very kindly made berths available free of charge for the duration of the event (June 9th – 14th inc) outside of these dates normal rates will apply. Opening Hours: Weekdays 0900 – 2000, Weekends 1000 – 1300, 1600 – 1900. Harbour Entrance There are two sandbanks to be wary of when entering the marina: 1) South of the pier there is a sandbank which is roughly in line with the TBSC finishing buoy at the eastern end of the pier. Stay close to the pier (<100m) 2) As you round the head of the pier a second sandbank lies immediately East of the marina breakwater, stay close to the pier here too.
